![]() Maybe you should consider doing the same! I like to imagine that maybe 2 Chainz is just getting so excited about getting a little sun, that he decides to take his shirt off and wave it over his head like a helicopter. You may also remember Petey Pablo from another early 2000’s classic “ Freak-A-Leek”. ![]() This lyric reference’s the rapper Petey Pablo’s 2001 classic ode to his home state of North Carolina, “ Raise Up”. “Petey Pablo, wave your shirt over your head like a helicopter” – 2 Chainz Since steroids make you “big” in the muscular sense, you get a clear idea of the state his bank deposits…which are similarly large. However, after acknowledging this, he immediately boasts that he is still extremely rich, using a metaphor involving his bank deposits (money) being on steroids. He’s likely referencing a multi-million dollar lawsuit against his former mentor/father-figure, “Birdman”. Probably Tanny’s favorite line of the song, Lil’ Wayne is acknowledging that he has some pretty large problems when compared to the problems of other folks. “I got problems bigger than these boys…but my deposits, they be on steroids!” – Lil’ Wayne They just want awe inspiring, sun-kissed skin that they can be proud of.Ĭheck out the song on SoundCloud, or watch the video on YouTube. But really, when it comes right down to it, the haters know deep down that they don’t want “No Problem” with Tanny. Sometimes, they hate on Tanny simply because of his marvelous suntan. Tanny can relate to Chance’s situation, because despite his golden skin, occasionally people still try to hate on Tanny and his extra tan crew. In the song, Chance warns all those that might have an issue with him that they definitely don’t want any problems with him or his crew. ![]() “No Problem” by Chance the Rapper is a certified, feel-good summer anthem featuring 2 Chainz and Lil’ Wayne, so you already know it’s pretty good. ![]() It’s called multitasking folks, and it’s a cornerstone of the Tanny Mangino suntanning process! So go ahead, roll the windows down, because you might as well bronze that left arm while you’re driving. This section of the site is devoted to music that makes you want to run outside and work on your suntan. Sounds like fun, right? And though we love Petey Pablo, we’re thankful that for the video, he took a backseat to a bunch of Panthers highlights.Tanny here, bringing you the first edition of “Tanny’s Tunes”. Now imagine doing that with a bunch of other Panthers fans nearby. It’s great to keep things like this general, because the chorus is all the Panthers will need to fire themselves up in the locker room: “We gon’ put that ba-da-boom on ’em/Carolina black and white and blue on ’em.” Shakespeare it ain’t, but try yelling along to the beat. Nope, instead this is just a hard-beating song full of Petey Pablo boasts - some good, some not so good. Happily, it doesn’t fall into the trap of all too many fight songs, which is the use of overly-specific team references at the expense of catchiness. How else do you explain a fan-made fight song that is actually, you know, really good?Īnd there’s more! A new fight song has emerged, this time not by some Joe Schmoe, but by Petey Pablo (of the still-fire North Carolina anthem “Raise Up”)! It’s a hip-hop track (of course), and it knocks. A big part of that is Cam Newton, who might just be the coolest player in the NFL, but whatever the cause, the fans are also responding with levels of cool heretofore unseen. A few old curmudgeons aside, the Carolina Panthers have never been cooler.
